1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the PetitHeros service. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service access

No account is required. The service allows you to create a personalized book based on the information and photos you provide.

3. Photos and provided content

You represent that you have the necessary rights to the photos you upload. If the photos are of a minor, you confirm that you hold parental authority or the required authorization.

Photos are encrypted and stored on secure servers in Germany (EU). They are used only to create your book and are automatically deleted within 48 hours after creation.

4. Acceptable use

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Do not upload illegal or infringing content
• Do not attempt to bypass security measures
• Respect intellectual property rights

5. Intellectual property

You retain rights to your photos. The texts, design, and generated illustrations are owned by MENTAT. A personal, non-transferable license is granted for private use only.

Any resale, distribution, or commercial use of generated books is prohibited without written authorization from MENTAT.

6. Service availability

The service is provided as is. MENTAT may modify, suspend, or temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance or updates.

7. Responsibility

MENTAT is not responsible for issues caused by the quality of provided photos, misuse of the service, or delays due to external causes.

8. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy available on the site.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law.
